You're going to get a much better chase on a box kick though.

  2. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

True yes, but if you're guaranteeing touch - which we should be against this AB side - then it's not as important.

Oh my fucking god that is just appalling. I really don't think Hartley has justified his selection at all

  3. Hurricane JD Hurricane

Last 20 is usually where we run riot

  4. Weeman27bob BE Force

That's an awful kick from Burns (the one before the chip). Kicking to the edge of the 22 and there was literally no chase to talk of. You can't just hand possession over like that.

  5. Hurricane JD Hurricane

Who's 16 for England his head popped up early at the scrum.

  6. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

    16 is Webber?

    Burns off asap please

  7. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Ahhh there we go. He's had such a shocker

  8. Weeman27bob BE Force

Don't think we really deserve another try tbf.

  9. Hurricane JD Hurricane

Is 23 Burrell - please say yes so I can castigate him.

  10. Weeman27bob BE Force

    Yes.

  11. Weeman27bob BE Force

Just haven't quite had the final product today.

  12. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

On the basis of the 2nd half we do. Just lack the support runners when we do break.

Have to say Cipriani looking good since coming on

  13. Howe JHF Howe

Yarde should be playing for England for a long, long time. Missed him this season

  14. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Yeah definitely. Once again though noone supporting him. Brown looked knackered as he jogged behind in the reverse angle replay.

    Finally a yellow card

  15. Weeman27bob BE Force

I'd definitely have him has second in line behind Faz.

  16. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

This has been such a what-if series. I hope we take confidence from this series. Just need the consistency and we can be a really fantastic side. Not quite on the same level as these blokes are, but I'd like to see us face the saffers

  17. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Lord, that's a hospital pass if there ever was one

  18. Weeman27bob BE Force

Our tackling has been pretty abysmal all game.

  19. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

That stings... deserved to win that half. The difference between the two sides summed up right there. NZ so so much more clinical, and do all the basic things (first test aside) perfectly. I'd say on the balance of the series there were about 80 minutes we weren't on top/even and that's where we were ripped apart. If we can cut that down int he autumn we have a chance at Twickenham

Think we know where we stand now.

ABs clearly still a cut above. We can make excuses, the timing of the tour not the least of them, but, as the old cliche would have it, excuses are like arseholes: we all have them and very few stand up to close examination.
