Where did I call for him to be dropped?

  2. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    As did Parker.

  3. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Oh give us a fucking break. Voss was dreadful. Absolutely dreadful.

  4. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Glad somebody else noticed it. Was so short it was ridiculous.

  5. Toolman TR Man

Only you and Cribb thinks so, stop forcing your beliefs on us.

  6. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Then the rest of you are retarded.

Voss is soooooo far ahead of callers like Hadley, Gilbert and the other counts that have stepped up in his absence

Pretty sure everyone has tried commentating whilst watching the TV at least once. It's not easy to do.

Normally I'll defend Cronk but it's becoming clearer that his continuing lack of form is starting to affect the teams he is playing in. He was virtually a passenger in this game, as he was the same in the later stages of Melbourne's season.

I'd be prepared to give DCE his shot ....

Anyone bagging Voss needs to seriously look at the alternatives around.

Hadley, Rabs, Gilbert, Haligan, fucken Dale Husband (cringe). These are the biggest shit cunts calling the game now.

Listening to Voss was like a breath of fresh air. If he hadn't of been partnered with Halligan it would have been a pleasure to listen to.

My mistake, thought Cribbs post was yours. Sorry bruz.

Not liking Voss...you may as well be a Nazi.

  13. Magic AJ Parker

Voss is good as a commentator, they should have an expert analysis alongside him in the box but that's not his fault and I don't really give a shit if he's a good bloke or not.

Did he? So what do you call his indecision on going for the ball that led directly to Ryan Hall jumping over him & scoring?

Why not drop Scott to the bench? He is down on form. It might serve him well to come off the bench. He hasn't shown a glimpse of what we all know he can do.
Myles can play back row in the middle third, he doesn't have to be on the edges.
Jennings would play left & Inglis right (simple number swap) & I don't think Hayne would be as much of a liability against Fiji. Against NZ or England maybe, but not Fiji.

Cronk was garbage. Halligan made some bullshit comment about JT being guilty of overplaying his hand but that he doesn't when Cronk is there with him because Cronk steers the side around the park & then JT chimes in to add the finishing touches. What fucking games does Halligan watch?

Indecision. So yeah, let's base our opinion of how a centre defended on what he did under the kick. That's interesting.

Wtf are you talking about dude? He just played a club season in which he was arguably the best prop in the NRL. I've never heard such short-term form junkie nonsense in all my life. Do you even watch Cowboys games? Yeah let's drop a top 3, world class prop because he had one ordinary match.

Then why did you name him at 12 and Parker 13? Is this some sort of malady all Manly fans/coaches have?

 And I thought Benny and the others naming Jennings on the right was bad. Yeah let's break up the Thurston/Inglis/Boyd combination on the left and play him out of position on the right, basically nullifying his biggest weapon; the fend. :clapping:

Can't help but feel playing Hayne against Fiji when he's not even regarded as being in the best seventeen would just be rubbing Fiji's nose in it about him not playing for them.

Well he didn't have to defend much when it came to pressure defence & the one time he did, he failed.

Scott was not that good this year in my opinion. Actually, even in his own opinion he thinks he was ordinary this year. It's not one bad game & I don't really think he is playing shit, he's just playing nowhere near the standard that he displayed the last couple of seasons.

Why is it that people presume the number on a players back (in regards to backrowers) is the indicator as to whereabouts he'll play on the field?
Who gives a fuck what number he has on his back.

It's against Fiji. As for Boyd, you can't even count him. All he does is finish off what they do. He doesn't do anything except put the ball down & then people wax lyrical over how great he is. Boyd is made to look better than what he is by the player inside him in the same way the Wolfman looks good because he is being put away by Lyon.

    Here you go;

    1. Hayne
    2. Morris
    3. Jennings
    4. Morris
    5. Inglis
    6. Thurston
    7. DCE

That backline suit your standards better?

Tate only had to make one important defensive play all game? Yeah okay. Those 18 tackles he actually made, none of them were important. Okay then. Good to know...You wanna talk about Tate's defensive errors whilst in the same breath advocating Jennings and Morris? I mean, dude...

I think you're talking out of your arse.

    This is a joke right?

Boyd is ten times the player David Williams is. Boyd is actually reliable. He may be overrated in the general media but he is a very solid rep winger.

Pretty horrendous. You're calling Boyd overrated and you want Josh fucking Morris in the side?

I wonder what a flow chart detailing Nady's selection process would look like?
