Bit late with this year's edition.

    Here's the draws:

    ITM Cup
    Heartlands Championship

I've finally managed to get a King Country jersey during the off-season thanks to that legend of the game, Tanner Vili. What a guy!

Looking forward to some proper rugby and not this fancy pants shite.

Oh yes, anyone keen for a Superbru tournament again this year, or maybe just the Picks games - including the Heartlands?

I think I came last in the hearlands stuff last year - my only theory was Wanganui are good and Horowhenua are shite.

I won't do Super Bru as I don't like tipping margins - would need a volunteer to run an ITM forum pool. Is it the same format as last year Heef with random games throughout the week? Or has sanity come back into it.

  4. Hurricane JD Hurricane

Ah - sanity has prevailed from the draw. Much better than last year.

Hopefully Jacob Boti a gets a gig somewhere.

Only heartlands game I really enjoyed was the revelation of Gilles Kaka

    GTFO. :cursing:

Not a Kaka fan I take it

I would of course be involved with taking part in the tipping comp.

I say it every year but......this has to be Wellington's year (heck anybody but Cunterbury and I'll be probably happy)

Losing Woodward sucks - he was really decent for us over the last couple of years, especially last year. We'll be really strong in the prop department finally especially with the return of John Schwalger as well which is huge. Looking forward to seeing Ardie Savea again this season. Really depends who gets selected for the ABs as to how strong our squad will be. Assuming the regulars will be picked it'd be fair to say Dane Coles will be in the ABs, T.hrush might be but I find it unlikely so he'll probably captain again. We may lose Brad Shields if he's selected for ABs and TJ Perenara may be selected for the ABs if a HB goes down injured.

Always enjoy this more than the Super 15. Come on Poverty Bay!

Jason Woodward looks exactly like Josh Hartnett, the guy from the Pearl Harbour movie. First thing I noticed when I saw him play, decent player though.

hopefully KC don't totally suck this year.

heard a few weeks back that they had two ex ITM players lined up but couldn't say anything at the time.

anyone (heef) know who they might be?

No idea. But I know two people who will know this. In fact, I'm hoping to get hold of a copy of the ITM Cup & Heartlands Championship Media Guides this season, which'd be a help. Would certainly help to answer this sort of question!

Yeah they played HK the other day - put on some ridiculous scoreline of course.
