I know what you wrote but unless you're going refute the argument you just wrote it's pretty absurd to criticise the Qld coach for doing, though less successfully, what the NSW coach just has.
Success is irrelevant in my argument, not once have I brought it up but you continue to. Please try to refrain from continuing down this path. My argument is based solely on number of attempts thus likelihood to do it again.
I'd suggest it was your allegiance rather than the numbers and volume of attempts, particularly because we have no idea how many Stuart may have attempted to acquire though not publicised. That aside, I apologise for producing a perhaps overwrought counter-argument.
How do NSW supporters get up for it every year knowing what's likely coming? I find it difficult, especially since I usually disagree strongly with half the team, and get tempted to just be neutral or hope Qld win by a thousand miles forcing us to at least make some changes.... soo nas the game gets going obv not how I think about it though.
Great to see that at every available chance Brent Tate has spoken adamantly about how determined he was and is to get back in Origin and play well and do his part. I think he'll have a big game and hope he and Hodges create havoc, particularly from acting half where both of them are so very strong.
I'm conflicted. I was born in NSW, I support NSW... but I also support Melbourne. It's hard to feel too dirty when it's blokes from your own club dishing out the punishment.
For me the issue isn't so much that it is it Melbourne, but rather that it's only in Melbourne on the years we're meant to have 2 home games.
Wha? Doesnt it work both states get two games in a series then the third series Melbourne get one? Nobody misses out on a thing.
Queensland getting it moved to Melbourne in an attempt to get two "home" games (let's face it. Melbourne is like a home game for them in this scenario. X,000 Victards who are jealous of NSW) because they're scared.
