Finally, with the Plastic Fantastic shit getting out the way, we can get onto the main event.

Yet another new structure in place. The main event is now split into the Premiership and Championship (no idea where they stole those names from!). A few returning pros, and the chance for the Heartlands teams to gain some supporters with them playing at the same time at some RWC pool play.

As for the last couple of years, the main ins and outs will be summarised by yours truly shortly. Will set up a Superbru pool too for those interested.

Well be supporting the naki as per usual

  4. SM MD Dorn

    Aye, why the Naki Bots?

  5. Jabba HJ Bots

well i'm from wellington but i don't support the big cities having both a super 15 franchise and an itm cup side. So I moved allegiance from wellington to the naki.

Why yes, yes I do. Got a couple of tours planned. I forget the dates, but I will be attempting to at least get to Lansdowne Park at some point and take in a few Heartlands games. Anyone from the Provinces keen to go and see some proper footy, give me a shout.

Great to see Andrew Goodman (and Mark Bright too) back for Tasman. If he plays anything like he did 2 years back, they should do well this year.

Also, can't stop laughing at Dan Kirkpatrick. Good enough for the Hurrilames; not good enough for the NPC. Says it all really.

Cos he's a bag of shite?

    He was shocking tbf.

Anyone heard of this young Leagie that Manawatu have snapped up from Canterbury-Bankstown? Played Toyota Cup, apparently?

That's a lot of moving we have going around there. We missed a trick with that Mike Harris fella. He should still be in the country. It's interesting to see the likes of Tony Brown still playing.

Steve Kefu the same Steve Kefu who scored an offside try against the canes by walking back behind the play.

Canes throw it in to the line out ball comes back kefu intercepts goes and scores and the ref turns a blind eye?

    Great park that

  17. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

Looking at the fixture list, it's looking more likely that it'll end up being Trafalgar Park, actually. Oh well.

  18. Gazza GJ Weaver

What?!? How many games are actually at Lansdowne?

  19. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

TWO! Mind you, it's a shorter season this year due to the RWC.

EDIT: If I can get my shit together quickly, Sunday July 24th at Lansdowne might be possible. Should be a fairly open game vs. Counties.

Nehe Milner-Skudder. Originally a Manawatu lad iirc, came over a couple of years ago in his last year of school.
