Indeed. Not just Cronk but Parker as well. I'm very happy with the way our pack played without Scott too. Any perceived complacency was quickly evaporated last night.

Yep. The fire may have been diminishing. It's well alight again now mate.

Yeah what's this about SA MPs jumping ship? I worked until 7:30 then went straight into the footy

I'm liking what he's about so far, although it's pretty easy to look good taking shots at the major parties he seems to have a few pretty good ideas.

Tell me about it mate. Can't take a trick.

They're not having a very good day eh? Seems to be a pretty poor time for Aussie cricket atm. Do you blame T20 or what?

Haha, it's good, but unfortunately it isn't Pearce's job. :(

Yep, that's true. NSW won Game III of 2009 but Gallen was out injured.

Funny what happens when you tackle like your life depends on it. Everything else improves.

      Up the Maroons!

Gallen's always been one of the filthiest players in the game. It's pure hypocrisy. We don't see QLD players going out there and punching him in the head after he's just played the ball because of the umpteen swinging arms he's produced throughout his Origin career.

It really depends on what your tastes are. The Beatles had a very wide ranging catalogue. I personally would suggest a compilation album. Listen to it all the way through once and see what you like. It's important not to skip through anything, IMO. Some of it you won't like. But just put it on while you're doing something else, and you'll find something good in there.

Yep. Hornets nest has been poked now. They can expect a warm welcome to Brisbane. Gallen will be booed with every touch. He's going to get fustigated early on when he runs the ball.

Yeah. The was a real lack of urgency from our boys with the ball. But again a lot of it comes back to defence. It's hard to do things at 100 miles an hour like your opposition, when you've made 50 odd more tackles than them. When possession evened up late in the game, then we started to really make some in-roads and trouble them. But yeah attack, in and of itself, needs to improve big time.
