lolwut? He tried to tackle him while he was 1m in the air, then JAC hits him with a swinging arm, followed by a late shot by TPJ in the same play. Then Api scores from a blatant knock on, and Flegler cops an all time howler of a sin bin.

I'm not concerned with Latrell on Hammer. My concern is Holmes defending anyone, he is a horrendous defender, I counted 4 misses in the first half last night.

He made 1 or 2 crucial reads in the second half, but yes, the rest of the night was an absolute turnstile. He's always been an out and out winger, probably the best in the game but there's no one else to play centre and we need his goal kicking. Gagai was even worse defensively last year.

Yep. If you dont wanna cop a stray boot then dont take a bloke's legs out in the air. Frizellino had no right to be there, he wasnt looking at the ball and was in no position to make a tackle.

I was happy for Ponga to be left out. Too much to risk with his glass noggin. Walsh's pace is electric. Pure speed created Cobbo's first and the catch-pass for his second from Walsh was insane.

Munster was great again too. Two try assists.

It's the only reason I'm not calling for him to be dropped, we have nobody else.

Naming both Haas and TPJ exposes a very low iq. One big powerful risky coconut is enough, having both is a coin toss of domination or capitulation. We saw that time and again when the Broncos played both of them.

The game was vindication for Slater's selections. Gilbert was plugging a hole left by Kaufusi's suspension, Fifita was strong, Hammer killed it and Walsh was good too and there's no way Ponga stays on the field if he cops the punishment Walsh did.

What? I get what youre saying about TPJ, I don't find Haas risky at all.

Freddy's biggest fuck up there was the fact that Haas only plays 2 more minutes than TPJ.

Fittler has to go. I mean jesus christ, they've won 1 of the last 5 matches. How is that even possible with the better players to pick from?

Even putting aside his goofy selections every year.

It's great to hear Billy say he has mixed feelings about the performance. He's not under any illusions that the victory might've exaggerated how well we actually played.

We won the first ten minutes 10-0, and we won the last ten, 10-0. The intervening 60 minutes we were far from great. Same with defence. We saved a few tries but in the mid-field we missed far too many tackles. Lot of room for improvement.

NSW seemed the exact opposite. They won the midfield comfortably but in the red zone they couldnt attack for shit and they cracked on their own line way too easily.

Collins, a prop, outjumping his club captain, the Blues and Australian captain really is kinda hilarious.

Hynes has to be picked to start imo. 4 of the last 5 games NSW has failed to score 20 points and with 36 tackles inside the red zone you've gotta do better than that. I have reservations about whether he and Cleary are a good match though.

Additionally, Nicholas still the most beautiful man in the cosmos too and needs to be shoehorned into the 6.

A kick chaser has no right to be a metre away from the guy catching the kick?
You're right he was in no position to make a tackle, which is why he.... didn't
He gets caught up with Teddy and slows down, then cops a boot to the face.

Slater obviously been teaching Walsh a lot.

Bullshit. He takes Walsh's legs out. Dont care if he gets caught up with Tedesco. Not Walsh's problem. Frizell had no idea where the ball was and runs straight thru and under Walsh. Correct call, penalty everyday.
