Jurbo at centre is a bold move, but I think it could work.

These are the only QLD certainties for next year. Will fill in the rest later.

If I were the NSW selector, I'd go:

    1. Tedesco
    2. To'o
    3. Mitchell
    4. T Trobjevic
    5. Addo-Carr
    6. Wighton? (but really I have NFI)
    7. Cleary
    8. Haas
    9. Koroisau
    10. Paulo
    11. Martin
    12. Murray
    13. Yeo

    14. Burton
    15. Saifiti
    16. J Trobjevic
    17. Kolomatangi

Really got no idea regarding the second row, you could throw a blanket over 10 names.

5/8 options all look shit to me. Luai's gotta go. I guess Moses might deserve a crack but he seems too similar to Cleary. Walker I think has high shit the bed potential and has looked kind of past it this season. Burton still might be too raw. I guess Wighton gets a crack as he at least was our BoG in Game 1 although I still don't love his chances of being great at 5/8.

Burton, Wighton, Walker and Moses are all better than Luai. Cunt sucks.

Until Cobbo shows he can tackle and catch bombs, the kid can stay in club land. Him going off actually was a blessing imo. Future star but still too raw.

Gagai had a poor series and really should be playing wing. We cant have him defending alongside DCE.

Oates proved he should be there with his carries out of trouble. First game in 3 years and he really made up for our lack of go-forward early on.

Thought Nanai had his best game. Much prefer him to Kaufusi because of his offloading ability. Lead to two breaks and a heap of second phase. Came close to laying up Papalii twice as well from kicks.

If Fittler was really honest with himself he'd resign. You cant have the better players on paper every game and go 3 losses from your last 4 starts. And lose 2 of the last 3 series.

Its just not nearly good enough.

On top of that I'm not sure how the selection panel works, but I'd say that backing your out of left field selections, only to have them backfire (not just this year either), should be the final nail in the coffin.

Cobbo should be nowhere near the side, but because he is a cheer he will be on the wing for Australia at the end of the year too. Cunt is barely first grade standard.

Radley soon to be ineligible for NSW. Has chosen to play for England.

Don't blame him, Yeo and Murray are going to be ahead of him for the foreseeable future and probably his whole career given Murray is his age, best case he'd get some games off the bench or fill in when those guys are injured.

I'm still not convinced either have a style that converts to Origin footy that well.

I'm still not sold on either. I would much prefer a defensive specialist or more aggressive ball carrier.

I've been having similar thoughts, particularly when NSW have the stronger side on paper, perhaps you don't need to over think the structure of the side with Yeo doing so much around the middle.

The conclusion I'd actually come to is that they'd probably be perfect to have on the bench, use all that ball playing around the ruck in much the same way you would use a hooker off the bench/as a bit of a plan b if y=the NSW are getting completely dominated up the middle. Fresh legs and a change of direction around the middle at tired forwards, or at a pinch fills in at second row for 25.

I'd been thinking Jurbo at lock is probably a good balance. Get two props with good go forward, Jake tidying up in defence and also offering some ball playing relief if needed.

One thing I think has been sorely missed is having two second rowers that can be a threat with a bit of craft, as in running good lines and asking questions on the fringes when nothings doing. I like Liam MArtin but I just don't think he has the running game to be a run on back rower at origin level and the continual use of locks on the edge doesn't work. I'd be excited to see a Koloamatangi type sniffing around on tackle 3-4, Gavin Cooper esque probing with angles 2 passes off the ruck, rather than us having these bigger back line movements that start off Yeo and Cleary all the time.
