Anus was puckered when the ball came off Ponga, totally expecting a knock on to be called there.

Yeah I'd have liked to have seen that again. 100% that's a knock on in club footy.

Fuck capewell came so close to blowing that over lap.

Genuine question - why is that never even considered as an obstruction by Martin, for taking out Munster on the kick chase? You can't just run over the top of a defender if you don't have the ball. Surely they need to start putting some emphasis on the attacking players to avoid contact as well?

Wighton and Moses should never be picked again.

Great face saving by the lads. All our forwards were gun tonight. Welch and Papa did plenty of clean up and Tino actually played well for once.

Moses was Ok, Wighton was shithouse though.

That Ben Hunt try from dummy half was an absolute killer at this level, Haas just way too passive you see it from him every week for the Broncos. I’m not sure if he just lacks the mobility to be a good defender on the line or he’s just in a shit system at the moment and getting away with some bad habits but needs to fix it asap.

Super impressive series from NSW though, think there’s some pretty obvious opportunities to improve the side next year and some not so obvious solutions that we need to find to some issues in this series like the edge backrow positions.

Good on the Hammer for a try on debut.

Disagree, did Flegler end up on negative metres?

Yeah idk about the Moses performance. Almost the entire first 60 minutes it was Cook -> Forward or Tedesco, and when Api came on he looked a lot better. Not sure if that was him not taking control, or the game plan though I'm unsure. And it seemed like every time he did get a backline sweep going either Wighton or Tedesco held it and ran.

    Won the dead rubber #dynasty

Haha, if I didn't cringe every time he touched it because of his loose carry I would have forgotten him.

First receiver -> Turn it back under for a forward
Second receiver -> Throw it out the back to the fullback/5-8
Last play -> Tentative kick 3m short of the line

He played very nervously all night, just kept it way too simple and never engaged the line. Cook definitely doesn’t help but even when Yeo and Tedesco were playing first receiver and he was getting the ball with good shape he was just dishing off well before the line every time, needed more variety in his play. Not going to blame him because he’s not the first player to bow to the pressures of origin but just never got in the game.

I was saying it after game 2 that the gap isn't that big. Queensland had McCullough at 9 and Holmes in 1 game 2, bit like us stepping down from Cleary+Luai to Moses/Wighton. Hopefully both teams at full strength next year, think it'll show up Freddy's selection blunders more.

Tonight reminded me of just how little I actually watch Ch9, geez Rabs has gone down hill.

Can barely pronounce any of the players names and I’m sure I heard him say the Melbourne Stormers at one point early on.

Wighton had 16 hit ups. Not here to see you Jack. Best back 5 NSW has ever had and that cunt jamming everything up.

Felt like Moses shit himself, but it would have been a really tough environment to come in to with the team being set. The role they had him in was perfect for Adam Reynolds.

Moses was told all week that all he needed to do was pass to our outside backs. Not going to blame him for doing that.

He didn’t straighten anythign up though that was the problem. He got the ball and kept swinging outside before giving it to Tedesco who ends up either has no room or gives it to Turbo with no room.

Latrell hitting that off 2 steps was a bit arrogant
