Yeah I got sword. It's very good. Was expecting direness after all the pre-release crap but...it good?
How I wish I wouldn't have actually said this now with the overabundance of modern war games. Also Bedsey was right to hang shit on me for hating on Mass Effect initially. That and Assassins Creed back then I just was not used to in a game so I unfairly dismissed them back then. Ended up going back to finish ME 1 and want to play 2 and 3.
I have started Mass Effect 1 three times and always quit around the time you get the Mako(?) transport.
Just finished the main storyline for Days Gone. I enjoyed it, although if they spent another 3-6 months fine-tuning the game it could’ve been a hell of a lot better. Now I’ve just recently started Witcher 3 (again - I’ve never gotten passed about 15hrs). Up to about 30hrs in a week. Loving it.
Just skip ME1 if you're not enjoying it. The Mako and inventory systems are a bit shite tbph. ME2 and ME3 are vastly, vastly superior games anyway. Particularly ME2.
Now that I've caught most of the pokemon in Shield and am just waiting for Cribb to catch the ones I need from Sword, been getting back into Fire Emblem Three Houses. Love fire emblem games
Bender and I bought Temtem. I've only spent like half an hour playing it so far, but seems pretty fun. Tons of stuff are copied from Pokemon but there are some new mechanics and adjusted mechanics - I'll have to spend more time with the game to see if I prefer them or not.
Playing a load of Europa Universalis IV and Crusader Kings 2 lately between multiplayer with friends and SP to try and get better at CK2. Also Magic Arena though that feels like it's on it's way downhill.
I feel like I'm gonna sink a bunch of time into CK3 when it comes out. I've never seen a game disincentivise playing itself as much as Arena does.
Knowing the paradox track record, CK2 will be a much better game for years and CK3 will come good in time, but we'll see. Tends to happen in DLC-centric genres. Arena's pretty fine if you play a lot but the moment the formats you have to play aren't fun it's definitely a chore. I've never spent anything on it and have a pretty big collection, but so many decisions they make are godawful. Expecting people to play a load of gold to access a format, or not offering rewards for playing a format is some of the most ridiculous stuff I've seen in card games. ..
