    Eye gouging is seriously fucked, I don't know if there's a more grubby act in sport? Especially when you're doing it to someone who's being held by another person and is absolutely defenceless.

    9 weeks is soft for someone who's been caught doing it twice in 12 months. If he wasn't a repeat offender, sure I'd probably agree with a 6-12 game suspension depending on the severity but he is so he should have gotten way longer.

    There should be no remorse for players caught repeating deliberate acts with the intent to hurt a defenceless person.

    Disagree strongly with this. I reckon Croft is alright. Definitely good enough as a young genuine halfback to not punt him for a fill in half when Munster is five eighth.

    They give the Marsters try on Friday night and disallow the Maumalo one. I kind of liked where they were going with rulings on groundings after we went through years of giving everything a try so long as there was a hint of a blurry fingernail on a ball but I think they're starting to confuse themselves again.

    Sharks are gonna be up for it for sure, especially SJ who often seems to kill it following a shocker. Broncos have way too many players out to not get smashed. I dunno if it'll be by 50, but they'll get smashed for sure IMO.

    I think Cronulla will win comfortably. But not in an outrageously big fashion. Who knows? I could well be wrong but they haven't been going great and Brisbane were at least in the match for a short period against Newcastle.
