Oh it could go any one of several ways. It’s so hard to pick but I do have Cronulla as the real dark horse who is going into the finals with the most momentum.

I reckon Cronulla bow out in straight sets

So you think they’ll lose to Easts and then also to Penrith/Warriors? I have to say I’d be genuinely shocked by that.

I think Easts get up, and the Warriors get over the Sharks if they make it to week 2 yeah.

Not really, I don't think Brisbane are a chance but they have been more impressive and have more momentum. Sharks have beaten Dogs, Knights and Cowboys in the last 3 weeks, all rubbish teams. Broncos beat Roosters and Rabbitohs.

    I really only see a Storm/Roosters GF.

I can see Souffs being there, if they play at their best, they are probably slightly the best team in the comp this year IMO. Just gotta get the Burgers focused.

Prior to those two admittedly impressive wins, Brisbane played two of those ‘rubbish teams’ and had 36 and 34 points, in losses, put on them respectively. Brisbane obviously have a lot of momentum, I wouldn't deny that, but dude they've won one game away from home since Origin (2 months).

Cronulla can only beat who they're drawn to play and yeah they've played a fair bit of clunge, but a month of solid wins rocketing them into the top 4 is quite significant imo.

Sharks are the type of team that always trouble the Roosters but I can't see them playing at peak performance 3 or 4 games in a row. If they get out in front of the Roosters early they'll probably win but if they don't they'll fall flat

I don't disagree with what you're saying, Sharks are a better side. Brisbane clearly have the better momentum going into the finals having beaten teams 1 and 3. With how the season has gone anyone in the top 8 apart from the Dragons can win it. It really should be a Storm Roosters GF unfortunately. Would love to see a Rorters/souffs.

Nah Sharks have the better momentum :p

Since Origin they’ve won 6, lost 2, and the losses were by a field goal and a conversion.

Broncos are no chance this year, but I see a lot of promising signs. Some superb rookies coming through, including a couple who haven't made their debut yet (Carrigan is prob the biggest). Right now there are too many injured players out and key players playing injured and just a lack of experience or leadership to string 4 big games in a row.

Both of which we missed an easy two points.

I wouldn't mind Bird being a late inclusion on the weekend so we can fuck off Kahu to reserve grade where he belongs.

That is not a fucking try you cunts. Prone on the ground is tackled. Ball carrying arm does NOT have to touch the ground.

That is fucking union style. These cunts don’t even know the rules.

What a try set up by Croft.

lol I still cannot believe that Souths try. That is absolutely scandalous that neither the officials nor the commentators know what constitutes a tackle.

Addo-Carr has been awful bringing the ball out of Melbourne’s end. He’s either too deep or too narrow every time and is getting easily pinned.

Great 90 seconds from George Burgess. Everything was fine until the grab.

Ugh give me a break. That’s a fucking knock on by Souths.
