    100%

I just think he surely comes out of last year mentally focussed and driven otherwise he's just always going to be a what could've been.

    He's the bolter for mine.

    Curious to get people's thoughts.

Assuming you believed Keary to be the best 5/8 in NSW would you select him knowing that he recognises himself as a Queenslander?

  3. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Nope. That is 1000 times worse than Inglis who we never cease to hear bemoaned by blues fans.

  4. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

What an absolute load of shit. Every year, your tireless Broncos favouritsm never ceases to amaze.

    I'd go with:

    6. Morgan
    7. DCE

They'd complement each other well IMO.

Hunt or Munster in the 14.

That all sounds about right, Addo-Carr the classic NSW one-two series premiership winger

  9. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

    Who's better?

  10. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

For it to be an absolute load of shit as you state, it shouldn't even be debatable. Who apart from Thurston is without a shadow of a doubt, a better 6 than Milford?

  11. Cribbage RG Cribb

I'd at the very least have a chat with him about it. Definitely leaning 'no' though.

  12. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

I wouldn’t say it’s not debatable. The comment was more directed at the fact that whenever there’s a possibility of making a case (and sometimes when there isn’t) for a Broncos player, that’s almost invariably the way you go.

Morgan for starters. DCE almost certainly is as well.

  13. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Not the case at all. I've always not wanted Thaiday in origin when others did, the only person I've picked that others haven't is Oates. I've also been opposed to people like Kahu and Roberts being picked in rep sides.

Morgan isn't in consideration for this as he will be wearing the 7. I'd take Milford over DCE every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

  14. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Of course you would. And as I recall you said Milford is the best 6 in the country behind Thurston. Well Thurston isn't in contention either. Don't try to move the goal posts.

Yes, Thaiday is the exception, hence why I said almost invariably.

It's a demonstrable fact that every year, for as many as I've been on here, your QLD side has always contained equal or more Broncos players than anyone else. That is not a coincidence. The sooner you stop denying this as though it were, the better.

I wasn't including Morgan with what I was saying, I thought that was obvious with the timing, knowing he would be at 7 replacing Cronk(which is why I had Morgan named at 7 in the side i originally posted, that should have also hinted I wasn't thinking about him for 6)

I love the fact that me picking QLD sides with EQUAL amounts of Broncos players, makes me biased towards them

It's almost like the QLD time has basically picked itself outside of a few wing and bench positions...

So how about instead of arguing the man, and falling back on your bullshit boring "OMG YOU JUST PICK BRONKOS", why don't you tell us how Milford is such an absurd selection? So far your argument to such a ridiculous selection is the guy who will be at 7 is better, and DCE is arguably better....Great argument so far.

  16. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

It’s not that you pick sides with equal amounts of Broncos. It’s that you never have fewer than anyone else. And that you defend bizarre selections like Hunt in the QLD and Australian side. You also wanted to bring Oates and Thaiday in for Game 3.

Milford is an absurd selection because A.Munster had an absolute blinder in Game 3. And B.even if you think there are better options than Munster, Milford is not at the top of that list. He’s not one of our two best halves. At this stage, he’s 4th at best.

Apparently TPJ told Freddie he doesn't want to play for NSW or Australia, only Tonga.

  18. Magic AJ Parker

He's got a long list ahead of him before that becomes relevant.

  19. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Not surprising. Who on earth would want to play for NSW?

  20. Magic AJ Parker

Getting paid $90,000 for 240 minutes of work where the job description is that you must perform to a mediocre standard and constantly let people down sounds pretty good to me.
