He was destined to be Roosters fullback the moment he left

Isn't this whole sevens thing just a smokescreen to prevent him from looking like he came home with his tail between his legs?

How long has 7's been a dream of his... I thought American football was his big dream?

Has he even made the team yet? It's not like Fiji need him and depending on how he has been in training I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't select him based on what they have seen unless it's a marking scam to get bums on seats or he has some guarantee as previously mentioned.

Hayne looked lost in all 3 games on day 1 after being subbed in.

    Hayne predictably misses selection.

"It was hard to comprehend and understand at first why I came here? Why God put me here, but deep down I knew there was a reason and a purpose. God takes you places not so you can achieve what you set out for, but to play a part and help something greater than yourself."

Get a load of the cunt. He's off with the fairies.

Yes Jarryd. God intervened to make sure you tried to make the Fijian rugby team. Did he also intervene to make sure you didn't get in? Same story with the 49er's? Seems like God is just fucking with you and likes wasting your time.

As a person I'm sure he's grown and done some amazing things and probably doesn't regret any of it, and big credit to him for having the courage to follow his so called dreams, but realistically, he's wasted 2 of the best years of his sporting career.

Another outstanding sporting prediction from the master. Well done champ.

Non selection eouldve been political more than anything else. Imagine playing your whole life with the goal of representing fiji in the olympics and then this cunt comes along out of nowhere and takes your spot. Plus theyre already champs so its not like they needed to change their formula.

..yeah that and he was fucking useless at 7s

Should've attempted to make the Aussie side.

Indeed. Sorry for not researching this on Google about his nationality, but he is an Australian first and foremost, why doesn't he do a solid for the Ockers and turn out for them. Australia aren't bad at 7s and I am sure somewhere at some stage they have won a tournament. It is not inconceivable they could win with him in the lineup.
    Where is his loyalty?

Or does he proudly identify himself as a Fijian his whole life long. I am just trying to figure out if he is chasing a gold medal and choosing the team most likely to win it.

He's nowhere near good enough to make the Australian 7s team

Well if he can't make the green and gold, he definitely isn't going to make the black and white team.

Exactly. It was an epic fail. He ain't no SBW

He was probably talented enough back 2 years ago. Those 2 years "playing" NFL didn't help at all. Plus he became a gaylord too apparently.

Yeah it was ridiculous trying to go from a power runner to an endurance athlete in such a short space of time.

Not just that but it's a quite difficult game to get the hang of tactically and technically. Completely different to anything he was used to.

Lol. He could easily have done it. Hayne wouldve easily overtaken SBW as the rugby GOAT if he played it for a few years.
