Obviously hate you cockroach scum, but I'm a traditionalist when it comes to things like this. I'm sure it will be a fucking amazing atmosphere no matter who is playing but I do agree with Wayne Bennett and others that it should remain in Sydney; the game's home in Australia.
Isn't it solely due to the fact that they are renovating ANZ stadium and the SFS is too small? Not too many other options in Sydney.
What was the magic cut off for being too small though? Suncorp doesn't hold a huge amount more than the SFS.
I'm not actually sure if that was the reasoning behind not using the SFS, but yeah, you do have a point.
No I dont think it has much to do with that. It is more the fact that they have the rare opportunity to a) take it somewhere else without too much backlash and b) make a lot of money for doing so. There's likely going to be 2 GF out of Sydney and 2 in Sydney during those 4 years of construction.
