They should chuck Noddy Kimmorley the reigns. :p

  3. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

He will take the Sterling/Hulk Hogan look.

I'm not sure what we should do to replace Parker. I think Papalii is the best option but I also happen to think he's our best left edge option as well. Either way he needs to be in the starting side. We can't have one of the best backrowers in the world only out there for 30 minutes. Guerra has been okay on the edge in the past but he's more suited to lock. Mind you he's been tackling like a busted arsehole this year. Gillett is another and whilst his defence has improved, it's not quite there for middle third. I like him with Cronk on the right.

Truth be told I wouldn't be against Napa starting at lock with Papalii on the left.

The decision to play Thaiday on the left really shows these cunts still have no clue. I'm worried what they're going to do next year.

    Would love that.

Kimmorley's comment on Triple M about Reynolds was music to my ears. He basically said well, that cunt is just a kicking game!

Amen to that. Noddy for coach imo.

That bench isn't good enough. Ignoring history and incumbency etc I reckon your best pack moving forward would be

    McGuire; Smith; Scott
    Lowe; Gillett
    Papalii/Napa

    Papalii/Napa
    Guerra
    Lillyman/Thaiday

So make the bench stronger by weakening the starting side?

Who are you playing on the left edge?

Papalii has to start. He's probably our best forward.

Papalii has been that good in the middle I'd be hesitant to shift him. Use him at 13 and play him 60 or so minutes IMO. Ethan Lowe left edge.

You have to start a bit of a cull in the forwards somewhere IMO. Myles and Thaiday are definitely past their best. Parker's retired and Scott's no longer good enough to carry passengers.

Another thing I'll add is that if you need a stop gap bench forward over the next 2-3 years I reckon Scott Bolton would handle the job. He's a better option than 2016 Nate Myles anyway.

We probably rate Lowe a bit differently. I'd sooner just put Gillett on the left and Thaiday back where he's actually played well, on the right.

And I still think Myles has something to offer from the bench. He's not up to starting any more but in a 30 minute cameo he'd be solid enough.

We used to be so strong in the middle too. We could afford to carry a player like Dallas Johnson in attack because of Petero, Price, Scott, Shillington, Myles and Hannant. Those last three have turned to absolute shit and fucked us a bit.

The culling begins with Thaiday imo. Seeing that fat, lazy cunt with his shit-eating grin putting more effort into joking with the camera at half time than actually playing. He's barely cracked 100m over the first two games combined. He either goes back to the right edge and gets told to wake the fuck up and start doing what he was a couple of years ago, or he's done.

After game 3, I don't wanna see Myles or Thaiday in a Maroon jersey again.

Would like to see something like:

    1. Tedesco
    2. Trbojevic
    3. Bird
    4.
    5. Mansour
    6. Maloney
    7. Reynolds
    8. Woods
    9.
    10.
    11. Frizell
    12. Cordner (c)
    13. Merrin

    14.
    15. Klemmer
    16. Fifita
    17. Cartwright

Blanks pending on how blokes go in the next year.

  16. Magic AJ Parker

No bias aside this is the side I would pick for 2017 and very little would change my mind.

    1. Matt Moylan
    2. Josh Mansour
    3. James Tedesco
    4. Jaryd Hayne
    5. Brett Morris
    6. Todd Carney
    7. Mitchell Pearce
    8. Aaron Woods
    9. Nathan Peats
    10. Junior Paulo
    11. Boyd Cordner
    12. Bryce Cartwright
    13. Dale Finucane

    14. Tyson Frizell
    15. David Klemmer
    16. Paul Vaughan
    17. Blake Austin

The only positions I'd contemplae a rethink on would be

    -Paul Vaughan's given the depth of competitors (Jordan Mclean, Campbell-Gillard, Trent Merrin, Leilani Latu & Jake Trbojevic) and;
-Matt Moylan's depending on what position he's playing for the Panthers next year.

  17. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Man, that is a weird team. I don't really know where to begin.

  18. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Carney got a contract sorted in the NRL for next year?

  19. Freddy MJ Johns

    Very.

  20. Julian BJ Taylor

I like a lot of it but if someone like Hayne is back he's not playing fucking centre. Neither's Tedesco.
