Just went to Shapeshifter tonight (3rd time I've seen them). Was bloody awesome, played a good mixture from all their albums. First time anyone's had a concert at Petone Beach (field next to it). Worked really well, such a nice night for it.
Yeah, I've done Bendigo a few times, you want to get in really early and book a spot in the camping ground there, makes it much better. We got the train home after it last time and it fucking sucked.
^^ Actually a funny story, we parked up ours car with tents and shit one train stop out of Bendigo and found an empty building site type thing that we'd stay on. Got the train in and shit, asked the train dude when the last train was back, we just made it back and got on the train which was a win, then the train got to that first station and just kept going turns out it was a direct train to Flinders. Poor cunts had to drive back the next day and then drive their cars back home again.

Agreed. One of my all-time favourite albums. Invalid Litter Dept is a fucking good song but there are so many great songs on that album. Do you like The Mars Volta, Julian?
Fy likes atd-i. Incredible. 2c on Volta - deloused and frances are brilliant, the rest of their albums have their moments (stuff like Goliath and Wax Simulcra off Bedlam) but aren't as good as a whole.
