    Beams would functionally perform a similar yet upgraded role to Trengove too, so it makes sense to move him on.

    Just can't see why Beams would move to Melbourne - isn't it personal issues that require him to be at home? Dunno why you'd 'miscellaneously' move to Melbourne.

    Yeah neither, really, but I think if the Trengove trade goes through then he's going to be our main target. Hoping he just wants out of Collingwood really.

    I've always thought the AFL was a competition well run by logical thinkers but having read a lot about this over the last few days it may just be the most retarded ruling in the history of Australian sports.

    The Swans are being held at ransom for following the rules set by the people now holding them for ransom. :laughing:

    A greater act of incompetence I can't think of in Australian sporting history. It's up there with John Howard's attempt at bowling to some Indian.

    I heard about a 5 way trade like that the other day but no Crisp and the Lions were apparently the only team to reject it which I think is odd considering we are putting Crisp in there now.
