At 3k, very few were going to buy it anyway. What did they expect? Same shit happens in South American countries and football games.
Don't think they'd tell us. They do have methods of finding out though and on PC.net anyone who is confirmed a pirater gets a pirate user tag. Also people are only allowed into the mods subforum if they have a confirmed copy of the game. The thing is, they made it the same price worldwide I believe, which means that it is cheap for an Australian to purchase but expensive for an Indian to purchase and they haven't made as much as if they had separated them more
Made a triple just by hitting everything square. Basically decided to give up on the bat sensibly approach.
Whats up with the batsmen hitting the ball to long on/deep mid wicket when I play a lofted cover drive? Also hits in the air to deep third man when I try to flick the ball in the air over deep fine leg/backward square leg.
I've been told it's operator error because you're probably not pushing the right stick in right direction but I call BS.
To be fair, I regularly do this. I yell and scream at the game for getting my shot wrong, then look down at my controller to see I've actually just executed it poorly.
Yeah Do that all the time, however I found that when my players skill increased the room for error increased
Yeah and I wanted to play a pick up flick shot over deep fine leg for six and the cunt played a lofted late cut right into deep third man's hands. I was on 99. Fucking retarded shit.
Has anyone managed to figure out how to reverse swing the ball? Shined the ball before every delivery for 8 overs straight when it was 65 overs old. Went into replay mode every over to check the wear and tear on the ball and just when the effects were beginning to show the cunts took me out of the attack. Fuming.
I'm convinced there is no reverse swing in the game. Someone please tell me I'm wrong. Sitting at 100* against Notts with my bowling all-rounder after putting up a 150 partnership with Prior to save the day. My first century to boot.
only really play this casually, so just at the end of my first season. Picked it up for the first time in 2 weeks and didn't realise the game had jumped a difficulty level for me. Think my top score since it jumped is 10. Suppose my 'smack it back over the bowlers head' approach wont work anymore. I'm absolute shite at playing spin now.
So I was made captain for Sussex half way through the season. Play 2 matches (win one, draw one) and then get my Test cap for a 2 match series against WI. First match, Windies bat first and put up a measly 213 with me going 1/14 in 4 overs. Gayle tonned up. We mini-collapse to 180/4 when I come in and put up a couple of 50 run partnerships with Misbah and Ajmal before skying one to fine leg. 68 (86). We finish the innings with a 120 lead but it doesn't matter, Gayle and Bravo are about tear us to fucking shreds. They put on a ridiculous 450 run partnership (Gayle scored a triple ton after tonning up in the first inning) and I finally get him caught behind. But they still bat on forever and amass 850 fucking runs! Eventually they get sick of smacking the cover off the ball and declare. I end up with 2/103 in 45 overs... very economical. Basically we now have to survive 4 sessions, so what do we do? Start playing aggressively as if you're gonna chase down 722 runs in 4 fucking sessions. We're 90/4 in no time so when I come in I'm thinking...ok, I'll block it out as much as I can with Younis, but the prick is smashing runs and eventually snicks one to the keeper. I stuck around for a while and added 60 to the total (highest score of the innings) but eventually lost my leg stump to Tino Best of all people. We're eventually bowled out with 2 sessions left on the last day and lose by 500+ runs. I walked out of the match with a decent performance but man did we get walloped. The only great thing about the match was that I finally noticed REVERSE SWING! It must have a lot to do with the conditions because I never noticed it in the county championship.
