Yeah same. All this talk about him but he just doesn't quite do it for me. He is big and all but he isn't quite up to the standard many are talking about. Agreed. I am really liking him this season. Since playing at lock he has become a fair bit better than his limited times in the props last season.
I remember seeing James in his debut game and thinking he could be awesome, even though the odds would be against him, just like most overhyped black dumbass players.
I rate James Tamou (haven't seen much of him this year though)... perhaps that's where the confusion came from?
I reckon Ryan James has been pretty gun tbh... not sure if he'll develop much though with their signings next season.
Big fan of Srama. Think Widdop (if eligible) and Sims have him covered though. I'm honestly not that impressed by DCE but Manly keep winning despite the fact that I don't think they're very good in general so I could definitely be wrong there.
(no bias) Srama's probably done the best job out of them all. Bar DCE, he's come in and was always rated as a prospect, but had stiff competition even to get a crack at FG. Not only has he cemented his spot, he's one of the top 5 hookers in the league tbh. And probably the best running hooker going around. Manly are lucky, and dumb. If DCE goes down - who plays halfback? Essentially there was never any competition for DCE, so he had time to adjust etc. He's been pretty outstanding though in his defense
