Not really a cultural divide per se, but the English speaking white people, not all necessarily from English decent, keep to speaking English. Their children attend English schools and they speak English all the time obviously. They do get exposed to Afrikaans, but don't give a hoot to try and learn it and they find it an EXTREMELY difficult language to learn. Afrikaans speaking people on the other hand, most from Dutch decent, although not all, similarly mostly keep to speaking and learning in Afrikaans, although a very large proportion of Afrikaans speaking people can speak English or at least make an effort to in modern day SA because they know that English is the global "standard" language and tend to learn English easily because they are exposed to such on such a regular basis in society.

TBF I never really got into rpg's all that much when I was young. FF and Wild Arms were the only ones I remember playing. Wasn't until I really got into FFX that I started getting into them.

Most of the VII love comes from the fact it was the first FF most people of the Playstation generation got into. And since nearly everybody of our generation only really started gaming with it it's the one that sticks.

But yeah everything about Kefka >>> any other FF character. Wish they'd make a full remake of it, would be epic.
