So you haven't updated it to iOS 5? Because I found that a lot of the things I jailbroke for on iOS 4 were fixed in iOS 5.

The main benefit I think you'll find though is that you can get basically any app for free. And if you don't want to pay for apps, then it is hugely beneficial.
