End of year Tests start on 25th October at WIN stadium

    Kangaroos vs Kiwis.

Really looking forward to seeing Great Britain rather than England play as well.

Potentially if Hunt & Munster miss out there would only be 2 qlder's in the 17. I wonder how far back you would have to go to find such a small representation from either state.

He may be young but Fifita should at least be in the squad.

Theres no way they'll take 3 middle forwards plus Graham, either.

  8. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Wighton is so meh at centre. Did nothing in Origin. Shame Turbo is out.

  9. Magic AJ Parker

Depends if he see' s Frizzell as an 80min edge player. But yeah typically Mal usually carries a utility on the bench so Hunt will get the final position.

Wouldn't be completely surprised if Munster gets picked over Keary too.

You can make a strong case for Munster. He has way more runs on the board in rep footy and he's played a lot more with DCE. Only lost his jersey through injury.

Against the Kiwis, Keary knocked on twice and then went off injured after 15 minutes. He was okay against Tonga.

As it stands though, the Roosters left edge will be picked so it makes little sense to not pick Keary as well. Hes one of the leaders for try assists this year and all that. I dont really care either way.

Munster is the first half picked. If they feel the need to get one in from the GF, than Keary is fighting it out with DCE. But I'm pretty sure Keary is gonna be ruled out because of his ankle.

Got no gripe with Hunt really, but I've always been a sucker for the "utility" being a reasonable hooker.

When I saw the squad I just naturally assumed Keary would miss, not because of his ankle but because the other halves would be ahead of him. Magic suggesting otherwise didn't shock me, but MF only saying you could make a case for Munster instead of calling Magic a biased fool has made me think I might be off base on it.

I actually rate Keary as the best half in the game but it seemed like a needless punt to me on someone with no Origins when I don't think he's that far ahead of the other two in the squad.

  13. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

The fact he left Munster out instead of putting him at centre shows it was a troll.

  14. Magic AJ Parker

    Tedesco centre, Munster fullback.

  15. Toolman TR Man

Keary won't play anyways, even if he could pull through they won't risk it cause a fit Munster is obvs a better choice.

No Origins but 3 GF's in 5 years. Not like he's lacking big game experience. I just figure it makes more sense given Cordner, Tedesco and Mitchell. Im not sure i rate him as the best half in the game but he's definitely top 2 so im fine with it.

As for the utility, I just don't think Hunt is the best option. He was mediocre as fuck for Qld.

I know how this is gonna look but I don't care, lol. I'd pick Ponga. Play Cook for 65 and give KP a 15 minute stint. He will murder them. Just like he did off the bench for Qld. If Cook gets injured you can always move Murray in there. Ponga gives genuine cover for all the back line too.

Only just realised how NSW-dominant the Australian team is. All forwards are Papalli are Bluebaggers and the entire back 5 are also all NSWmen.

Queensland still producing better halves though.

Gagai probably would've been there were he not injured.
