Going to the Rugby by Yourself

Anyone done it? Pretty keen to get a Manawatu Turbos membership which is only $50 for 5 home games and it comes with other goodies like discounts to places (trade prices at the liquor store I shop at for example) plus other things. Thing is out of all my mates, none like/ support rugby - well only one who lives in Hamilton this year. I have people willing to go on the odd occasion but roping people along for 5 games would prove rather difficult, especially if it was wet.

So anyone done it or any sport for that matter? comments? I'd feel a bit like a loner tbh but nothing beats live ruggers and when I go with people it's not like I can talk about the game anyway because they don't understand it.

The current GF loves sport so a winner there, only to not like rugby so that's a jefbnjknj4nf2.

Went to the Canada v ABs WC game at the caketin by myself. Was a sick atmosphere

Haha was at that game too but the big difference is I'd go to big games by myself in a heartbeat but one thing is you're actually not going to be singled out because it's sold out so you'd feel less like a loner. Which is probably one factor I'd be more willing to go to those kind of games (and the occasion).

Nothing wrong with going by yourself. Done it myself and seen plenty of others do it.

No need to worry folks. Have got to know this guy in my course quite well and we both love rugby!! He has a Turbos membership and all - I'm getting mine as we speak. Off to the preseason game on Wednesday avo as well. Turbos v Tasman.

Sounds good. Honestly sucks that less and less people in this generation don't like rugby. Hopefully it's not a bad sign of things to come in the future.
