British Papers heavily linking United with Thiago and Cesc again today.
Also saying Lewa will consider us now his Bayern move is closed. If he really wants Bayern surely he'll just go on a free next year though? So don't see that one happening

  2. Cevno IV Narang

Fabregas rubbished the rumours too and said he doesn't want to leave Barca.

Thiago has to be the most likely.

  3. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Yeh he's said he's happy to stay in Barca until they tell him to go. That could mean he will leave if Barca accept an offer for him.
Newspapers saying United have been given private encouragement to go ahead.

Never can trust the Birtish press though

If Pardew pays 6mil for Darren fucking Bent he needs to be locked up.

  5. Ari PM Jackson

AWTA, we could buy 5 more frenchies with that sort of money.

  7. Verigoat S Verigotta

Spuds aparantly going in for Nainggolan

Wonder if anyone on here thinks he would be a good buy :whistling:

There's no way Lewandowski has a contract with Bayern already. Dortmund would sue the pants off everyone connected with that.

  9. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

I was wondering about the legality of it. It might just be a pre-agreement to sign for them once a bid is accepted or to not sign for anyone else until he can legally join BM or something. I don't know anything about contract law though. Someone like Marcuss to comment

  10. Verigoat S Verigotta

You could probably have an agreement with the prerequisite that Dortmund accept a fee. As with Goetze there was a buy out clause there was no issue with if they would accept

But I can't imagine you could set up an agreement in stone on the basis Dortmund accept a fee if Dortmund have come out openly and said they arn't accepting shit from Bayern

  11. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Personally I don't see Lewa leaving... if Dortmund don't want to sell to Bayern why would they then sell to United? And he clearly wants to play for Bayern anyway so surely for him the best option is to see his contract out.

The article on United's home page with Moyes and Lewa quotes is vitstl though

  12. MrPrez CM Dyer

Well for one they're not competing for the same league title.

  13. Verigoat S Verigotta

Let us buy him until Jan then sell him on to Bayern for a profit

  14. PienaarColada DH Mulray

Moyes would have him wide left anyway. No point in getting him.

  15. SuperNova SJ Nova

Dortmund are apparently willing to sell him to any European club that isn't Bayern

About fucking time. Not that I'm super excited to have him, I'm just glad the whole "he's coming, he's not coming, he's coming but De Bruyne goes out on loan, not coming because De Bruyne wants to go to different team, he's not coming and De Bruyne is staying, he's coming and De Bruyne is staying" thing is over.

  18. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Really see Schurrle as a bit of a meh signing. A bit like Jesus Navas. Surely both players bought in as cover rather than genuine starts?

I mean yes he's better than Moses but I wouldn't stick him ahead of Oscar, Hazard or Mata

  19. MrPrez CM Dyer

Navas would start if we play with wingers surely?

  20. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

City just don't have the players to play with two wingers though atm. Pellegrini does like them, but you waste Nasri/Silva/Aguero by playing one of them wide imo
