Michael Crocker is more apt than Johnson IMO. Crocker still has a fair bit of support and used to receive enormous praise on here even after a clear decline. He's been rubbish for a while now.

    Excuse me?

I need somewhere to stay in Queensland for two weeks.

Tarty has a spare room but he doesn't have a spare bed/anything to sleep on.

Ben Ross is a good option IMO.

Every heard of a hotel? :whip:

Um, what dates exactly? Why are you coming to Brisbane?

  6. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Nah, all you cunts just underrated him to the max.

I'm not sure yet exactly. August though. I'll let you know.

    Beacause.

To troll the Stingrays more than anything tbh.

I rated Kade so much when he was junior at the Knights, I pretty much had him pencilled in as the next captain after Gidley at one stage I think.

I'd really rather know the actual reason if you don't mind.

    9. Stu Flanagan
A piss head through and through, Flanagans named seemed to pop up every time a side was lacking in the hooking department. He was a talented player but had a lot of off field dramas and I have heard reports of him going walk about at different times, but as he was half way between reggies and NRL it seemed to just slide.

When he was at the sharks I think he gained an inflated reputation of goodness as when he came on he was often replacing Paul Aiton, which would make just about anyone look good.

    Key stats:
    40 games across 3 clubs

    Main Offenders:
Hard to single anyone out, but I know his name used to pop up way too much and it seemed like every club though they should sign him. Hell I'll just pin it on Julian, he said Canberra would be premiership favourites if they replaced Buttriss with Flanagan 2 seasons ago.

    Best thread in recent times.

    Kudos.

Was thinking of something similar recently whilst watching reddy struggle.

Hopefully I've done enough to get picker into this side.

Yeah Flanagan was originally a Cribb special. I believe I even called for the Tigers to move Farah to halfback and play him at hooker at one point, then when he went to Canberra I spent all off-season telling Julian he was going to gun it. Julian bought the hype too but his first few games were absolutely fucking terrible as he couldn't pass the ball off the ground (and not like in a McCollough "chooses not to do it" way, but he kept trying and they were terrible passes). He got dropped after that and played very occasionally after that until he went to the Sharks.

    Reckon he could've been gun.

This thread is great. I've long been on the Brad Davis train ever since he had a stint as a PE teacher at my school.

    6. Josh Lewis

I don't know who's mother Lewis spat on, but the fact he's only played 25 first grade games to date is a crime, especially when you consider cunts like Jeremy Smith (halfback) have managed to play 100 first grade games across NRL/SL.

I thought he was the next big thing when he started at the Roosters, I remember him, Soward and Pearce were starting out at the same time and I thought 'Wow this Lewis is a class above these other two hacks'. How he hasn't managed to nab a first grade game since '08 baffles the shit out of me. He's still only 27, so who knows. Although wikipedia tells me he's playing reserve grade in France.

    Key stats:
    *25 games across two clubs
*Is better than Mitchell Pearce and Jamie Soward

    Main Offenders:
Everyone: Let's face it, we all rate Josh Lewis and rightly so. Wouldn't look out of place in a sky blue jersey.

Anyone else feeling a Knights combo of Rogers and Seage?

Didn't heaps of the Broncos hype McCullough as the next big thing?

Albert Kelly to play 6 in this side. I'm guilty of over-wrapping him.
