Let me make this clear, one last time.

- Provincial cricket isn't like the old Origin series. It's not supposed to be really exclusive, or that much higher a standard, or whatever. People have said that it's starting to become like a parallel BS comp - which is good, I want it like that. Its purpose is not to be a level above, but to create a competition that has some real continuity and minimal player movement. Teams in the PC can evolve over time without just going and recruiting half a premiership side and then losing it the next season. It's just a different way of dividing up the players; it's no longer the next level up.

- Provincial Second XI cricket is not provincial cricket. People saying "blah blah blah straight into a provincial side" are talking out their arses - it doesn't go into the provincial subforum and it doesn't even have First Class status. It's Second XI cricket, like ALC.

- We used to have two BS rounds a week, and provincial cricket was played at season's end. It's changed for a reason - people are still getting two games a week (plus the one dayer now) and the best of the best get an extra series (North v South) at the end. So if you want to bullshit about playing less games per week in previous seasons or whatever (which is irrelevant anyone as I want CricSim to evolve and change, which may mean more or less simming over set periods) then you're talking out of your arse, because the current setup is different.

- Lukic is a shit cunt n00b anyway and always will be. He pretends he's an oldfag by picking on newer members, asking who they are when they post, reminiscing about the good old days etc, but he's a newfag just like the rest of them. He made his provincial debut for the manufactured province that is NSW City last season very shortly after cementing a BS spot ffs, and he made his First Class debut for the might of NSW Academy.

- The next step up in quality is North/South games. They now represent what the 'old' provincial setup was - A three game series at the end of the season between the best players in the game. So if you want that, it's still there. Stop looking in the wrong place for that sort of cricket.

- If you don't like any of this, then don't post in threads about this comp. I don't give a fuck. If you continue to troll - any of you - you'll be cockblocked and/or infracted. No-one is forcing you to follow these games, and taking offence to simming that doesn't affect you is ridiculous.

Smith is far more active and overtime as long as he continues to be active he should pull ahead in terms of performance.
