Incidentally, I think the conditions did suit us better. We just didn't play well enough to take advantage of them. No did our tactics help - Civo and Scott off for extended periods was ridiculous.

 

Yeah sour grapes. Which is why I came on here and congratulated NSW and Gallen and etc.

Not at all like the class shown by the majority of NSW fans who come on here after Game 1 saying they were ripped off by the refereeing and that they were actually the better team and or should've won the match.

 

Doesn't help when mods allow trolls like Stormer and Azzal to go unchecked.

Azzal is gun. Actually makes me laugh at times.

QLD played like shit. NSW played well. Gallen was the best on ground.

Lockyer was atrocious. QLD's forwards were okay, NSW's were overall a bit better.

The Blues had a bit of luck but mainly that which they manufactured for themselves.

Pearce and Soward were solid.

Ennis was shit. Smith was fantastic again, particularly in defence.

Matt Scott played well again.

The outside backs for both sides didn't do much but that was to be expected in the conditions. NSW played with greater hunger I thought and deserved to win.
