Rightio. If my maths isn't piss poor we have 66 players signed up for BBallSim. This means each team should have 8-9 players each this season. Once we get to about 7 each I'll start the trials, then we'll head onto the main season.

Each team will get two trials, one against another BBallSim team (Colts will play against two because we have 7 teams) and one against another NBA team of their choice (another BBallSim team is an option).

I'm ready, after months of procrastination, to start up S3.

Everyone will have just one trial, against another BBallSim team, and then the real stuff will begin.

So yeah, get your lineups in and hopefully we can start early next week at the very latest.

So, with 7 teams for next season the following things will happen:

The regular season will be expanded to 42 games
Each team will be playing 12 games a piece - playing each opponent once at home and once on the road
Playoffs will be between the top 4 teams, so even though someone with a losing record will probably qualify, it's better than 3 teams meaning 1st place would have a 5 game break
Playoffs will be 1st v. 4th, 2nd v. 3rd in a 3 game series, the winners then...

I've been thinking, and now that we've got 51 signed players and a heap of FA who can't get contracts I think an extra team for season 3 will be necessary, maybe even a 7th team as well considering I'm now manually doing subs to stop subs getting any minutes at all.
